I want to set a default milestone other than "Undecided" for new cases. How do I do it? How are the milestones sorted in the drop-down?

The default milestone will always be "Undecided" unless you delete it. If you delete "Undecided," the default will become the milestone will the earliest completion date. If two milestones have the same completion date, they will be sorted alphabetically.

(Note: to delete the "Undecided," you have to make it unassignable first. In order to make it unassignable, you need to have at least one other global milestone that is assignable.)

A workaround could be, to have the case creators use a shortcut like this:

<FogBugz-URL>/default.asp?command=new&pg=pgEditBug&ixProject=4&ixFixFor=3

You'll have to determine the project and milestone numbers first of course.
