I have recently installed a FogBugz server on my Windows 7 PC so my team can use it to develop a plugin. Everything is set up correctly for Fogbugz and I can run it fine for any computer on my local network. However when I have tried to setup the server so our team can access it remotely no other browsers can access the server.

I have done the following to attempt to get the server to run correctly:

  1. Setup an account on dyndns.org to get a domain name for the server.
  2. Setup ddns on my router to keep dyndns updated.
  3. 2a) This is successful as I have done nslookup on the domain and the ip address is correct.
  4. Setup port forwarding on the router for ports 80/8080/7099/etc to go to the website. (I have tried multiple ports to see if any have been blocked but none have worked.)
  5. In IIS for the Fogbugz site I have added bindings for listening to ports 80/8080/7099/etc.
  6. In Windows firewall have set exceptions for the ports 80/8080/7099/etc that I have been trying to work with.

For all of the ports when I added the forwarding/binding/firewall exception they have worked for the local network, but when I have tried to access the server remotely it would timeout and not connect to the webserver.

So the question is, is there any other settings that I need to set/override in order to be able to access the webserver running FogBugz remotely?

UPDATE Yes the bindings should all be set up correctly this is what I have: Bindings

Did you setup the bindings for the right hostname or for *? It might only be responding to localhost
