We have never used the public submission feature and set our projects to NO for "Allow public submissions".

For the past week we have been receiving spam cases via this method - all start "Aloha!" and them have various links to drugs websites (I've not checked any of them out).

I can't seem to find a way to stop these or anyone else with the same problem.

Can anyone help please?

We had the same problem. It was because the project itself was set to public. If you look at the cases it probably says it was from the web and not via email.

Thanks Billy. I can't see anything that says public. I've checked the project and client settings. I don't know where to look. You are correct - the cases show as a bug posted to the website. – ESW Jul 8 2010 at 15:29
Update - the spam has stopped since I changed all projects so that none allow public submission. See this link to the Fogbugz Technical Support support.fogcreek.com/… – ESW Jul 9 2010 at 15:02

Looks like the solution was just to make sure no projects were set to "public"
