I have a team of developers working on multiple projects.

We have allocated cases to users, with due dates and estimates of time.

I cannot see how identify gaps in the allocated schedules for individual users

Any help would be appreciated

Assuming that by gaps you are looking at either times when individuals will have no work or are blocked (and waiting to do work), the Per-User Timeline can be helpful. Go to Reports -> [project name] or Global Milestones and select the Per-User Timeline from the report drop-down. Tasks would be out of balance when they are significantly shorter or longer than for other users.

Note that this could be misleading if you have milestone dependencies that are not entirely correct.

Correct - looking at times when individuals have no scheduled work and we could assign tasks into these 'dead' periods – Chris Nourse Jun 22 2010 at 16:24
