I really like the Project Backlog plugin, for allowing easy and flexible prioritizing of cases. But I hate the flood of case events it creates:

Demoted in backlog from 10 to 11

Added to backlog at position 7

Of course I could have typed a number instead of clicking the arrow several times in this case. But maybe I can hide backlog events altogether, perhaps through some BugMonkey Javascript?

I just noticed that the Tidy Case Events plugin hides backlog events, with the ability to show them if necessary!

Alright, I sat down and implemented it myself. :-)

name:          Hide Backlog changes
description: Hide all Backlog change entries
author:        Michel de Ruiter
version:       1.0.0.0

js:

$("div.bugevent").each(function() {
  if ($("div.changes", this).text().toLowerCase().indexOf(" backlog") >= 0) {
    $(this).css("display", "none");
  }
});
