When users post on a discussion group, they usually want to be emailed when a new reply is posted, but currently they have to click "subscribe" every time they post a new topic. Can FogBugz be set to automatically subscribe users to their own posts (on a per-user basis)?

You can use the AutoSubscribe plugin to subscribe to all new posts in a Discussion Group, or to every item that you create (cases, wiki articles, discussion posts). This is available to both Normal and Community users.

We've just initiated our elite beta testers as community users and they are asking for this feature even though it is installed. Perhaps it should be more visible? – Nicolaj Schweitz Mar 11 2011 at 14:39
