At this URL: http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/443/email-sending-notification-problems

It says the maintenance URL should be http://mydomaine.com/fogbugz/heartbeat.asp but the instructions on the site configuration page says the URL should be https://mydomaine.com:443/fogbug

Which one is correct?

You should leave off heartbeat.asp when typing the maintenance URL into your site configuration page. It should just be the base site URL as it can be reached by the server itself (since that's where the maintenance service is running).

The other question you linked to is describing the maintenance URL that the service ultimately connects to, not as it is configured.
