Is there any way to change case information using email?
Example: I'm in a meeting and I get a new case from Fogbugz, but it was not assigned to the right area or priority. Is there anyway for me to reply to email with some code to change the case attributes?
We had a similar case open for a possible minimal interaction with cases via reply to the notification emails. I have opened a case to consider more control over editing case fields.

In the meantime, you could try writing a plugin to add this functionality. I would have the plugin implement IPluginBugCommit. It can check on commit for incoming emails from a fogbugz user, then look for a signal that the email should be parsed as a command, e.g. a special string in the subject. The plugin could then parse the body and commit the changes you want as the FogBugz user who is emailing.
In order to limit the number of things there are to work on, and thereby eventually get something done, we design FogBugz to be "lived-in". The web interface is the primary interface. If you need another interface, the application programming interface has enough capability to duplicate this functionality.
We are going to focus, for now, on improving and extending FogBugz's capabilities, not its interfaces.
(Only two years late...I'm sure this is still an interesting conversation to someone...)
While our team is transitioning to FogBugz, lots of folks are still more comfortable "living in" email than in FB. We've written a little program to parse instructions out of mail sent to a special mailbox. The program then calls the api to update bugz. Right now, we mostly use it for user assignment (TAKE Case 1234 assigns the case to the sender), but we're growing it as needed.
For folks who want tighter email integration, that may be the way to go.
