Question

I often need to assign a case to a user quickly without changing any fields or entering a note. I wish I could assign it in a couple of clicks instead of

1. click assign
2. click user name
3. click ok

It's only one fewer click, but it would probably be faster since all the ajax-y edit stuff wouldn't have to come up.

This could be implemented pretty easily with a plugin. You can build on the super-simple "Assign to me button" plugin example.
