There was an error with your search string

FogBugz search does not support dates before March 14, 1879.

Cute... I enjoy easter eggs and other clever things in software.

Generally speaking, I thought this was relatively funny. :-)

I don't get it. Is this some kind of inside Albert Einstein joke? – JohnFx Apr 21 2010 at 15:34
It was his birthday. – Mark Sicignano Apr 21 2010 at 15:48

Filed a bug. I like the easter egg if you were to, say, search for edited:"July 4, 1776". But not if you expect the current year to be assumed.... which I do. – Rich Armstrong May 6 2010 at 20:13

The error message is incorrect as the actual cutoff date is the 13th, not the 14th. This search does not generate an error:

That's just because the server is running so fast, that it is able to bend time a little. – Mark Sicignano Apr 21 2010 at 16:23
Was it the server that was running fast, or was it you... – Grik Apr 22 2010 at 20:47

This is fixed for a future release. Searching for a date without the year will use the current year.
