When you click on the Working On menu and start typing in a case title, the auto-complete shows closed cases. If you select one, you get a message that the case you selected is invalid because it's closed.

Can this be changed to filter closed cases from the auto-complete dropdown?

This almost seems more like a bug...any time the user is allowed to take an action that would result in an error is a bug if there is a simple and obvious way to prevent this behavior with no detrimental effects other than preventing the invalid action. – cdeszaq Apr 7 2010 at 15:41
