I was happily using FogBugz with Opera, and everything was working fine. However, when I upgraded to Opera version 10.51, all of a sudden I can't get the "Enter time estimate" functionality to work. This is the functionality where you click on the grid in the "Estimate" column, and a little time estimate window should show up. When I click as usual, I get nothing.

In my "recent activity" area, I could see two responses to this question: the one below by Rich Armstrong, and another by adamboy on Apr 16: "I have opened a case to try to reproduce this problem and will post an update here. Thanks for your patience (case FC1874521)" But this response seems to have disappeared? I would be interested to hear if he was able to reproduce this... – Prop Joe May 18 2010 at 16:04
I also have this problem. Along with it, the instant search of the 'set your working timer' drop down does not work when typing in words from the case title into the box on Opera. – Ryan Feb 9 2011 at 17:47

Just a note here that Opera is not one of the browsers we routinely test on. We only currently support IE 7 & 8, FireFox 3.x, Safari, and Chrome.

That's a shame. And I suspect you think that is a shame too, going by what you said here a while back -; support.fogcreek.com/… – Prop Joe May 18 2010 at 15:52
Yeah, unfortunately for Opera, what I said there about Chrome not measuring up was superseded by Chrome's other excellent features. Opera is not one of our officially supported browsers. Sorry. – Rich Armstrong May 18 2010 at 16:59

I hope we can get support for Opera soon, it's a major player in the browser market. How else will I answer cases from my Wii? – Ryan Feb 9 2011 at 17:49
