Sometimes it would be helpful to explain a change to a wiki (a spec for example) by linking to a case, but you don't want to put the case link in the body of the article. using the source control checkin comment method would work well:

  1. Discussion in case 1234 dictates a change to a spec
  2. Edit the wiki article of the spec
  3. Save the change with the comment "bugzid:1234" or "case 1234"

This would be a useful feature. – Kenny Evitt Sep 27 2010 at 14:16

I can't upvote this 'question' because: "Vote too old to be changed, unless this question is edited" And I don't possess sufficient rep to do so. – Kenny Evitt Sep 27 2010 at 14:17
