Typically, these are the menus that are always available to me in the upper right corner of the FogBugz window:

However, when I click either Admin->Licenses, Admin->Users, or Admin->Site, the menus disappear:

Very annoying.

 Yes, very confusing. More than a couple of us here at Fog Creek were confused by this, too. It's a first pass at a unified interface for user administration between FogBugz and Kiln. It will get much better. – Rich Armstrong♦ Mar 2 2010 at 18:39

We have made some changes to the UI recently, particularly in the menus and site configuration. If you think it still needs work, please take a look at this post. Up-vote any answers which you agree with, and post your own for any usability issues you see.

In my opinion, it's not much of an improvement. There is now an "Admin" drop-down menu at the top right on the Site Configuration page, but what I really want is the exact same look and menus used for all the other normal FogBugz pages. After I've done whatever needs to be done in Site Configuration, I normally want to go to List Cases or New Case or a Wiki. I can't do this at the moment. – danielm May 3 2010 at 23:40
The admin page can't look just like FogBugz because it is shared with Kiln (if you have it). It wouldn't make sense to have links back to parts of FogBugz if you got to the admin page from the Kiln side. – adambox♦ May 4 2010 at 18:24

 Thing is, we don't have Kiln and likely never will. Not sure what percentage of your customers have both, but these admin pages for FogBugz-only customers are definitely a bit weird and unfriendly. I don't think it's right to decrease the usability of your primary product just to have better integration with some other product. Just stating my opinion here as a FogBugz-only customer... – danielm May 7 2010 at 20:52
