I like the ability in the case list to move cases to the top or bottom of the backlog. Can we get this functionality into the edit case view?

This would include during case create. Currently any backlog setting seems to get lost if you're creating a new case, e.g. setting a backlog to 1 doesn't put it to the top of the list.

Would like to be able to create a new case and have it added to the bottom of the backlog.

I can't reproduce that bug. If I open a new case in project "foo" and set the backlog to 1, it sticks. If I open a second case in "foo" and set its backlog to 1, it sticks and any other cases are properly moved down the backlog. can you make sure you have the latest version of the plugin? fogcreek.com/FogBugz/plugins/… – adambox Feb 22 2010 at 17:01
(adding to the bottom will be included in the above question) – adambox Feb 22 2010 at 17:02

There are now helper links that allow you to add a case to the top/bottom of the backlog in edit mode. You can also set/change a case's backlog value when viewing a case (i.e. not in edit mode).

These improvements will go out with an updated version of the Project Backlog plugin (i.e. version newer than v1.1.4) which should go out in the next few weeks.

You can move a case to the top of the backlog during edit or case creation by setting the Backlog field to 1. We have a case open to evaluate adding a way to put the case at the bottom of the backlog.
