Sharing filters is great, but often you create a filter which for instance is a layout of work items to do for the user looking at the filter.

Basically, this can currently be achieved by using the text search "assignedto:me" - but if I could just choose "-- Me --" in the dropdown when configuring the filter this would be somewhat nicer.

I've opened a case to consider adding this feature. In the meantime, as you mentioned, you can use the search string to achieve this.

It looks like I am able to actually select "Me" from the dropdown but it looks like that resolves to my username at save time and not at the time the filter is run. Is that the expected behavior or a bug? – ajanian Jul 22 at 13:08
