I've got a series of milestones in csbe.fogbugz.com and they don't seem to take into account the first milestone that was both put in as a dependency for the other milestones and where I also added a start date of today. It keeps showing at the end of the list.

I think that It's supposed to be first since it both has a specified start date and because it's a required milestone for all the others to start.

Milestone ordering is taken from the "Completion Date" only (not "Start Date"). Milestone ordering ignores "Milestone Dependencies." If you want your Milestones in a specific order, you need to adjust all the "Completion Date(s)" accordingly.

Can you add a feature to use the dependencies and start dates instead? There are a number of reasons why I may not have a completion date, such as when estimating when a project might be finished. The ideal solution would be to let the user choose what criteria to use to order milestones. – middletone Jan 26 2010 at 18:47
I'll try changing the dates for now. – middletone Jan 26 2010 at 18:48
See fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/10361/… for a FR to improve on this. – Michel de Ruiter May 7 at 7:40
