I followed the instructions found here: http://www.fogcreek.com/FogBugz/blog/post/FogBugz-Screenshot-Hot-Key.aspx

But I am simply unable to get ScreenShot to start from a HotKey in Vista. I'm logged in as an administrator, have set "Run as Administrator" on the shortcut and the .exe, but no luck.

Has anyone gotten this to work on Vista?

I added a step 2 to the instructions which seem important. I'm on Vista and this fixed it, although it takes five seconds before the picture window comes up after pressing the shortcut key (and explorer kind of freezes).

Thanks Michael. I've switched to SnagIt in the meantime. The 5 second wait & explorer freeze sounds unacceptable, so I think I'll stay with SnagIt. – TexInWien Jan 28 2010 at 13:31
