For a project, you get to show a set of milestones, cumulatively. e.g. cases for milestone 1 or milestone 1 and 2, or 1-5. With Global ones, I'm unclear about which cases are included.

"Global" is just a special project as far as EBS is concerned. The normal rules apply: In project releases, EBS considers all the cases assigned to that release and any before it in the project (see the slider on the EBS page). For global releases, the cases may be in different projects, but EBS only cares about cases with that global release you've selected, and any other global releases before it (again, see the slider). When looking at the report for a global release with a nominal ship date of 1/15/2009, EBS doesn't include the "Foo Project Launch" with date 10/20/2008. Only the other global release you have set for 11/25/2008. See also this question regarding when to use Global Milestones vs project-specific ones. |
