Small edits would be much quicker if cases could be edited directly in the Grid View (for the columns shown).
This could be set up as a general user setting.

Update: For a future release, we would very much like to improve the slickness of the grid view, potentially including such goodies as drag-and-drop and greatly expanded in-place editing. In short, we intend to continue to improve usability and editing, particularly around grid view. In the meantime, that plugin interface case is open as well. We have a case open to consider adding a plugin interface for the context menu in grid view. Via a plugin using that interface, you could add any sort of editing you need (Case FC1377104). We also have cases open to add various oft-requested context-menu items such as priority, status, assigned-to and working-on |

Inline editing is a feature that I would love to see. Sometimes, I want to quickly edit the estimated time, tags, etc. This would allow me to keep my case information up-to-date with less effort. |

+1.... I would be happy with a one-click edit option. Right now it is 2 clicks: Open grid menu, edit. Why not a little edit glyph right in the grid? And a + and - glyph, to bump priority up 1 or down 1.... These things would make such a difference, and clearly can be done with the current grid.. |
