Small edits would be much quicker if cases could be edited directly in the Grid View (for the columns shown).

This could be set up as a general user setting.

I've been testing out using FB to manage our Agile Sprint workloads, and it really gets cumbersome to have to go in and edit each visit when you want to change a status or a time. Which means it wouldn't be used as fully as it should be and therefore wouldn't be as useful to us – Jessica Jan 11 at 16:50

Update:

For a future release, we would very much like to improve the slickness of the grid view, potentially including such goodies as drag-and-drop and greatly expanded in-place editing. In short, we intend to continue to improve usability and editing, particularly around grid view. In the meantime, that plugin interface case is open as well.

We have a case open to consider adding a plugin interface for the context menu in grid view. Via a plugin using that interface, you could add any sort of editing you need (Case FC1377104). We also have cases open to add various oft-requested context-menu items such as priority, status, assigned-to and working-on
