A customer asks:

"I have been trying to use this Backlog plugin. We generally add tasks to the backlog, then when a sprint starts, we move tasks from the backlog to the current sprint. This plugin doesn't seem to let me add to the backlog, but only assign a backlog number to some task that goes into the main sprint. I can't even make it display all the backlogged items. Can you tell me how to get what I need with this plugin?"

You can create a Milestone within your Project to fill with Backlog Cases (Backlog numbered of course).

Then, Filter, Search or Select Column to sort your Case View by the Backlog Milestone.

Then, Select the Case(s) for the new sprint Milestone and bulk edit them and create the new sprint Milestone (use the "hovering widgety thing" on the Case line, or "Edit" the selected Cases).

Is adding a milestone really the only way to filter items that have been assigned a backlog number? – darrelmiller Jun 11 2010 at 18:06
