I'm using FogBugz On Demand. I have several cases that have been opened, estimated, worked on, and resolved as "(completed)" by me, yet when I go to the "My estimation history" report, I get the message that I have no historical estimates. Why?

I use a customized category of "task" for most cases instead of the standard bug, feature, inquiry, schedule item, etc., would that make a difference?

Is there a minimum number of cases that must be resolved after estimating before they show up in your estimation history?

Does the "time charged against it" have to be through "Working On" then stopping? Several tasks were done offline and my timesheet was manually edited later.

Hi Adam,

I just reproduced this... it looks like you found a bug in the Workflow plugin! I'll file a case.

In the meantime: EBS properly includes the default categories, as well as their renamings. So, a workaround would be to rename one of the existing categories 'bug' to 'task', rather than using your newly created category.

Thanks for the workaround. – Adam Jan 9 2010 at 16:57
I have this same problem, except I have only used the default categories. We do have the workflow plugin enabled though. Does the case need to be closed or is resolved sufficient? – David Mitchell May 25 2010 at 3:10
@mitchell the case needs to be resolved with a status that counts as work done (check on the Workflow -> statuses page) and be closed – adambox Jul 12 2010 at 18:19
