How do I share filters with other users?

Anyone can share a filter with everyone else on FogBugz, just click Filters > Manage Saved Filters.... Then check the Shared checkbox next to the filter you'd like to share. The filter will then appear in all users' Filter dropdown. Sometimes this can lead to a proliferation of filters, with one group sharing filters that don't apply to another. If this is the case for you, contact us and we can help you use BugMonkey to suppress filters that don't apply to you. If you just need to share a one-off filter, click on the "More" menu on the right-hand side of the filter bar and select "Permalink" and then share this long link with your fellow users. |
