I'd like to be able to pull a report of time worked per area for a specific time period. I've looked at the various time plug ins, and I'm not able to determine if any of them will do this.

For example, if I have an Area called Business Requirements, and I want to know how many hours were spent on that Area between July 5th and August 19th. I'd also like to know which employees billed time to that area in the time period, and for which projects.

Is there a plug in or reporting capability in Fog Bugz that will help me identify this?

Thanks!

The FogBugzTimeSheetPlugin should be able to do that. You might have to create a specific filter to suit your needs.

Hi Uwe; Thank you for the response. I did set up a filter for Area, but when I use that filter in the TimeSheet Plug In, I can't see a way to summarize the hours by those areas. The results I get list all the cases. There isn't a column called 'Area', so I'm unable to view my results based on Area only. For example, I could have 10 cases assigned to the Area of "Requirements", I'd like to see the hours worked on summarized across those 10 cases. Is this sort of summary reporting available in the TimeSheetPlugin? – Brian Aug 13 at 14:35
I see the problem with the area selection and the summary. You might try using different values for Summary Level, but I don't know if this will do. If nothing works for you, consider writing something using the API. – Uwe Raabe Aug 13 at 19:26

I have this same issue and am currently looking into resolving it. If I find anything I will let you know, I'd appreciate it if you could update this post if you've found anything on your end :)
