Use case: I have a snippet for sales related inquiries where I often attach a PDF or CSV file to show a customer an example of a report we offer. It'd be cool if I could save an attachment with specific snippets I have set up so I don't have to do this manually each time.

You could include the path to the documents in a snippet, then cut and paste that. That might help a tiny bit. – Michel de Ruiter♦ Aug 9 at 9:55
