I enjoy using FogBugz but it is really annoying how I have to use the mouse to add estimates. Is there an easier way?

You should be able to navigate all the way around using the keyboard. There isn't a one keystroke way to add an estimate, but if you hit ctrl-; the keyboard shortcuts on the page will show up. In edit mode for a case, the tab key will take you to the estimate window where you can type stuff. Also, you could add the bugmonkey plugin and add your own javascript which made a hotkey so that you could go directly to the add estimate window. |

It seems strange to me that streamlining entering estimates hasn't been made a priority since it's a key to making the EBS feature work. There needs to be a way to add estimates in the grid view by typing the estimate, hitting enter and the next case's estimate is automatically selected so you can enter it's estimate. This would allow you to enter estimates quickly and easily. Having to repeatedly click the mouse in the estimate column is a sure way to keep people on your team from wanting to project estimates. |
