In this question, I inquired as to why the Check for Updates menu item wasn't working. In this answer, Michael Pryor stated that FogBugz won't always inform you of an update if they (Fog Creek) feel the update isn't that significant.

I can see suppressing notifications of minor updates when FogBugz does its automatic update check, but if the user explicitly checks for an update with that menu item, I think they should be informed of any new version, no matter how trivial the changes may be.

I agree -- it might not make sense to push notifications out on every release but if we specifically ask, the reporting should be accurate. – Ken Morse Dec 15 2009 at 23:07
We consider this a bug, actually, and have filed a case to be fixed. – Rich Armstrong Dec 16 2009 at 16:26
Any update on this? We are using a slightly older version, but our sys admins like to stay as up-to-date as possible. – cdeszaq Oct 22 2010 at 13:30

Any timeline for fixing this? Or an RSS feed to be notified of updates? – cdeszaq May 12 2010 at 18:26
