As in, I would like to have a short name for the project. This is unrelated to the cases. Currently we have several customers and have their projects prefixed with XXX-Project Name. I would like to be able to display only the Project Name. I think the only way to do it is to add a custom field to the project since Description is not editable.

Where would you like to see the shortened project names? Depending on what you're after, you might be able to write a BugMonkey customization that handles shortening project names for you.

And how exactly do we do this on your OnDemand site? I see the plugins listed in the Admin options. How do I use one?

	If the plugin is enabled and you are one of the Users that can create personal customizations, open the My Settings menu and click Customizations. Click New Customization... and off you go! – Michel de Ruiter♦ Jul 6 at 11:25
