Very often an email I get needs a simple response and then I can forget about it. So I want to delete it as quickly as possible. Right now I can only to that through 'Resolve' and then 'resolve and close'. Shouldn't there be an easier way?

When you're replying to the email, there should be a "Send & close" option (depending on your workflow rules) that will send your response and also resolve and close the case all in one step. |
