<p>I understand the the "opener can be the only person to declare a case closed" logic. But consider my team's scenario. We're a small group of five people, so we all know that a case can be closed, without a doubt, even though we may not have necessarily be the one to open it (and we open cases for each other all the time). We're all admins, so if we want to resolve and close a case, we have to "Resolve" it, then go back into the case to "Close" it (compared to "Resolve &amp; Close" if we opened it).</p> <p>I would suggest this be changed to "if you have permissions to both 'resolve' and 'close' a case, then show the 'Resolve &amp; Close' button. Otherwise you're just creating an extra step.</p>
