<p>Firstly, I really love this plugin, so I can edit all the typo's in our Fogbugz projects.</p>
<p>I think there is a bug in the logic behind this plugin however. If I fix an incorrect reference to another case E.g. User has typed the following into a case.</p>
<p>"Bug 1. Save button doesn't work,
Bug 2. Unable to edit xxx text,
Bug 3. Dates are not localised"</p>
<p>Fobugz creates links to Case 1,2,3. These links are wrong (because the users is not referencing a Fogbugz case, but just listing multiple bugs in one document, so I updated that text in the "Case Event Edit" plugin and I've still got references to the original text cases 1,2,3. I would have expected that if I've changed the text to remove the references in the current public view, then a link to those incorrect cases would be removed. Is this a bug or have I made an incorrect assumption here?</p>

<p>G'day in version 7 of fogbugz I could apply filters based on Group roles. In version 8 this has been removed. I had set my Group Roles = Customers and created a number of project for each customer (Group). I can't filter for all my customers cases now. Is there a way around this?</p>

You manage the Database, so you could have easily measured the affect of the change. Surely the database change scripts would have to have changed the existing filters when you changed the security within the database.http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/4836/filter-by-cases-in-projects-set-to-a-given-group/5500#5500Comment by Jamie ClaytonJamie Clayton2010-10-27T11:55:35Z2010-10-27T11:55:35ZAs a software service provider we pay for our clients to use Fogbugz and they see all there projects in one view, while we can't do that now. It makes customer reviews very difficult over the net.
We send project time sheets and invoicing and changing the titles on projects makes the customer/accounts and everyone involved very unhappy (word changes can be bad for financial processes).
The one thing our customers hate is lost functionality when we upgrade. Worth thinking about when your a software service provider.
