We are using fogbugz on demand for over a year now and are looking to integrate with TFS. From what I've seen we cannot do this with the on-demand hosted version. We would like to evaluate this integration in our process to see if it is worth bringing in house.

Is there a trial for in-house usage?

Hey folks,

I've used FogBugz before about 3-4 years ago, and am probably coming back for more.

Does the 45-day version have any restrictions?

How many users can I put in it?

Can we use the nifty screen-shot tool with it? (Loved that gizmo!)

If we want to buy a proper license, can we move our data over and just carry on?

Thanks!
- Tom

Is Perforce integration supported for trial users? I think I'm doing everything correctly, but cases just aren't being resolved. There are no error messages.

The trigger script (logBugDataP4.pl) is running when I submit my change. It calls the FogBugz server with valid arguments, and FogBugz returns "OK".

This is the URL used for submission:

http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/163/student-and-startup-edition-free-or-45-day-trialStudent and Startup Edition: Free or 45 Day Trial?Diago2009-10-04T19:41:15Z2010-11-23T15:12:51Z

I learned about and signed up today to the FogBugz Student and Startup Edition, which is an great for me personally as I have been looking for a package like FogBugz for a while, but can't afford the current cost, mainly due to the exchange rate. However after signing up the confirmation e-mail still states that there will be a warning when the 45 Day Trial account expires.

Is the Student and Startup Edition really free or just a trial version?

How can you confirm which edition you are using?
