I'm looking for a complete reference on what is auto-linked in the bug event text. I know of the following patterns:

links to cases

case XXX (site localized name for "case") bug XXX bugs ID: XXX bugz ID: XXX bugzid: XXX

link to wikis

WXXX Article XXX (including localized names for "article") Wiki XXX (link to wiki page XXX)

webpage urls

http://url (link to URL) https://url (link to URL)

Are there more?

Edit: Still looking for documentation.

However, in the meantime, I asked the source - and I believe that there is a bug in FogBugz... in the static (!) constructor of
CBugRelationList
the patterns are apparently built for case/bug and wiki matching. However, in contrast to the wiki pattern which uses
FB_*_ALL
(containing a static list of localized entries), the case pattern uses
FB_CASE
which is a localizable entry which may change depending on the language of the current
CLocalizer
instance. However, since the pattern is static, it will not match other patterns anymore such as the German "Fall XXX", which used to get matched in FB6 AFAIR.

Case FC1861702

http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/7528/fogbugz-v8-support-for-links-with-non-standard-ports FogBugz v8 support for links with non-standard ports Mark Hammond 2011-03-18T23:34:26Z 2011-04-13T18:12:48Z
When entering a link in a FogBugz case that contains a non-standard port, the resulting link is not usable.

Repro steps:

Create a case

Edit the case and enter a link using the HTML editor

Specify in the link a non-standard port (e.g.
<a href="https://dev.example.com:44369/trac/MyProject/changeset/120">Changeset 120</a>
)

The resulting link in the case is both not usable and a partial rendering of the URL and ref nofollow portion of the anchor tag.

If you remove the nonstandard port, FogBugz behaves as expected.

Case FC2033945

http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/7689/bug-unable-to-add-links-containing-apostrophe-in-html-case-edits-wiki Bug: Unable to add links containing apostrophe in HTML case edits/Wiki Ben5e 2011-04-01T20:14:05Z 2011-04-06T23:19:14Z
Running FB Version 8.3.42 (DB 778, Build 1)

Trying to add a link to a case using HTML case editing it reports that:

"The link you've provided is not in a format that FogBugz understands"

The link I am trying to add is:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student's_t-test

I as able to manually do the escaping and add the link using:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student%27s_t-test

I don't thing FB should expect the end user to do the escaping manually.

Case FC2040286

http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/7627/auto-update-link-text-to-reflect-current-article-names Auto-update link text to reflect current article names Vasili Galka 2011-03-29T09:41:56Z 2011-04-06T12:40:03Z
When linking one wiki article to another, there are two ways to do it: 1. I would like to be able to take users to a specific part of the article. In one application I have a form with several controls. I have an article devoted to the form and separate sections for many of the controls. For example, I have page with some definitions but I would like to link from one word to another word that might be further up. Or I would like to link to an image that is on the same page. I want to avoid having to create lots of pages so that I can create these links.
