I created a Stylish css file for fogbugz.stackexchange.com Uses a lot more space and fixes all the wasted space.

http://userstyles.org/styles/37473

Stylish for Firefox:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2108/

Some has been positive, and some negative, which is great! The site, after all, is for all of you.

As of right now, we feel the design is "good enough" that we would rather spend the resources redesigning it on other projects. This won't be the last iteration of the Fog Creek website (including our two Stack Exchange sites), and we've learned a lot about what people love and hate through this process. We also made it easier to change, so hopefully you won't need to wait several years for an updated look and feel.

We also encourage people to change how they experience our site (and FogBugz in general: Look at BugMonkey!). Samuel's solution for our narrow page width is great, and we encourage anyone to use it who feels their user experience would be better for it.
