<p><strong>Update:</strong></p> <p>For a future release, we would very much like to improve the slickness of the grid view, <em>potentially</em> including such goodies as drag-and-drop and greatly expanded in-place editing. In short, we intend to continue to improve usability and editing, particularly around grid view. In the meantime, that plugin interface case is open as well.</p> <p><hr/></p> <p>We have a case open to consider adding a plugin interface for the context menu in grid view. Via a plugin using that interface, you could add any sort of editing you need (<a href="http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/1023/whats-that-kiwi-logo-and-case-number-at-the-bottom-of-my-feature-request" rel="nofollow">Case FC1377104</a>). <p>Inline editing is a feature that I would love to see. Sometimes, I want to quickly edit the estimated time, tags, etc. This would allow me to keep my case information up-to-date with less effort.</p>

<p>Do you realise that in FogBugz 7, hovering over a task will make a tiny box appear at the end of the title field. Clicking on that box will allow you to perform some common actions: assign, add subcase, etc.</p>

<p>+1 and make the grid view with a predefined search query available as a WIKI PLUGIN. So you can place multiple editable custom search queries directly in one nice wiki page. </p> <p>note that this can replace the "shared filter" concept, as you can share filters simply by publishing wiki pages. </p>

<p>+1.... I would be happy with a one-click edit option. Right now it is 2 clicks: Open grid menu, edit. Why not a little edit glyph right in the grid?</p> <p>And a + and - glyph, to bump priority up 1 or down 1....</p> <p>These things would make such a difference, and clearly can be done with the current grid..</p>
