Can you create a milestone with a "hard deadline?" - FogBugz Knowledge Exchange most recent 30 from http://fogbugz.stackexchange.com2013-05-25T01:16:31Zhttp://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/feeds/question/10157http://www.creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/2.5/rdfhttp://fogbugz.stackexchange.com/questions/10157/can-you-create-a-milestone-with-a-hard-deadlineCan you create a milestone with a "hard deadline?"Mike Redick2012-03-21T17:17:57Z2013-05-04T06:22:00Z
<p>I'd like to have a way to manage small tasks and requests coming in. Basically all those little tasks that take an hour or two, but people need "right now."</p>
<p>I'm thinking I can have everything go to the Inbox, wait there to be reviewed (estimated, sent to correct project, etc) and then moved to a "Requests" project. The requests project would have a new milestone set every week on Friday (would be nice if FogBugz could automatically create repeating milestones, but guessing I can write something quick against the API.) </p>
<p>Then as I assign cases and estimates to the weekly milestone, if the expected completion date passes the hard deadline the assigner would receive a warning and push it out to the next week's milestone. Or if it was an emergency issue, move something else.</p>
<p>That way I'd be able to manage my request log as well as my larger projects through FogBugz...</p>
<p>So is there any way to do that now, or should I tag this as a feature request?</p>
